PictureTrail is a popular free online photo
sharing service. Users create and maintain their online photo albums via their web browser, with
no plugins required. This project involved architecting and implementing a scalable hardware architecture
utilizing RAID storage arrays connected to load balanced web servers. An SQL database was used
to manage member information and stored digital photos. Media Technique currently provides ongoing
hardware maintenance and web development services to support the rapid growth of this website.
